Antédon II
Antedon II specializes in coastal oceanography. She operates along the coasts of the Var and the Bouches-du-Rhône.
Missions
She has four main tasks:
- Ensuring the long-term observation of the permanent study sites SOMLIT-SOFCOM.
- Training students to use tools for collecting samples and to deploy the main scientific instruments and other equipment.
- Providing logistical support for sampling and the deployment of instruments as part of scientific research in the region of Marseilles (Toulon – Rhône).
- Performing technological trials of scientific equipment for in situ observations and the collection of samples.
