Haliotis
The oceanographic launch Haliotis provides a platform for mapping, based primarily on acoustic imaging, to obtain precise and reliable information on the character and morphology of very shallow coastal waters.
Deployed and operated by two sailors on the entire metropolitan coast, in Corsica and overseas, it is the essential complement for coastal vessels.
The launch operates during daylight hours. A trailer equipped with a crane ensures the Haliotis is available at any point along the coast where there is access to the sea.
